The 22nd of March 2021, an interview was published on Law Circuit, an online platform run by law students and aims to provide information and inspiration for future career steps and opportunities, with the support of Wolters Kluwer (an information services company).
I was truly honored when one of my former students from the University of Amsterdam contacted me.
She is one of the editors of the Law Circuit and wrote in her e-mail:
"Last year I attended your lectures for PPLE's Public International Law course and I became very enthusiastic about your specialization in women's rights. [...] I think it would be very interesting and fun to interview you for this in order to find out more about the possibilities that the human rights sector, in particular women's rights, offers to law students. Think in particular of questions about choices you have made, experiences you have gained and a vision you have of the future of women's rights in developing countries and what kind of jobs this entails."
Of course I said "yes" and a few days later we had a digital coffee and a wonderful chat via Zoom. It was also for me personally a nice moment of reflection.
You can find the interview (in Dutch) here.
