A few days before the article was published, I was interviewed by Wendy Degers, a journalist working for the university newspaper. The article is in Dutch, and describes my experiences in relation to the similarities and differences between FGM/C and FGCS. I was invited by the Law Faculty of Maastricht University to be a panellist during the conference taking place on the 20th of September entitled 'Female Genital Mutilation vs Labia Correction Surgery: Where are the Boundaries?'
