The 10th of April 2018, an article was published in a well-known Dutch daily morning newspaper (De Volkskrant). A couple of weeks before, I was interviewed by Rob Vreeken, a journalist with vivid knowledge of harmful practices and with a clear understanding of the African context in which those practices take place. The article explains that criminal laws and prosecutions in case of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting in Burkina Faso has positive effects.
