The 20th of November 2018, I gave a guest lecture at Middlesex University Mauritius. I was invited to speak about my experiences working as an independent consultant in the field of human rights. The aim was to give law students, both at the bachelor and master level, examples of the many diverse employment possibilities in the legal field.

From the 29th of October until the 4th of November 2018, I was in Israel for a business trip. The main reason for my visit was a research project that I am currently developing in relation to the successful elimination of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) in Israel.

Since I will be traveling to Mauritius for the 1st Violence Against Women Conference, I had an appointment with a videographer to record my presentation

The 11th of October 2018, at the International Day of the Girl Child, a lunchtime conference was organized in Brussels entitled ‘Youth Engagement to end Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)’.

Five women, in four different countries and in three different time zones developed the online platform www.dewereldwijven.com about a year ago. In the mean time, it has grown into a network of more than 80 women, living and working in all corners of the world!he! I attended the ‘Wereldwijven’ symposium in Amsterdam.
